Our cabanas use traditional Belize-style natural wood walls and tiled floors. Each has comfortable beds, a private bathroom, a kitchen and a shaded porch with a hammock. Two cabanas are air-conditioned; the other two are fan-cooled.
Today’s Beach Conditions
This stretch of beach faces south rather than directly east toward the open Caribbean, so it’s typically less affected by sargassum than more exposed parts of the peninsula — conditions can still shift day to day with wind and current. Ask for a current photo before you travel.

Each cabana has a stovetop, fridge, and basic cookware for self-catering. We stock the essentials, but we recommend picking up your own coffee, spices, and any specific staples during your first grocery stop in the village — it’s a short walk and a good way to get oriented.
Which cabanas have air conditioning?
Cabana Menoma and Cabana Cruz are air-conditioned. Playa and Mar are fan-cooled.
How far is The Village Inn from the village?
The Placencia Sidewalk and village centre are approximately a 14-minute walk away.
Can you help arrange airport transfers?
Yes — we can book a transfer from Belize International Airport (Belize City) to Placencia, and back. If you’re flying directly into the Placencia airstrip instead, we can arrange a pickup there as well.
