The Village Inn was the perfect place for our family. The Cabanas were comfortable spacious, clean and cool. The kitchen made it so easy to cook our own breakfast and lunch while going out for wonderful meals in the village of Placentia. Ti, our amazing host, guide, fresh coconut water master, was over-the-top accommodating. He made sure that we were looked after as well as all of the other guests. Ty turned a fantastic place into and amazing adventure.

The Village Inn provided our family with a beautiful private beach, with canoeing, paddleboarding , fishing and lots of swimming in the Beautiful Caribbean ocean right out our door .

April stay changed due to the coronavirus

I’ve been waiting for two years to go here. It was a pleasure to write Jacob, such a kind man. Booked the cabana and flight. Vacation time approved by work. Then… pandemic.
To say I am disappointed doesn’t begin to describe it. Jacob and I communicated as the situation worsened around the world. Everyone’s priority should be to stay safe. What was really great is that I proposed an alternate plan and Jacob agreed. Like I said, a kind man.
For now, paradise can wait. I’ll be sitting by the ocean soon enough.

Fantastic cute cottage on the beach

We had a wonderful time during our stay at villiage inn. We stayed in Mar cabin and it was right on the water ! The cabins are definitely rustic and minimal, but in reality you spend all of your time outside. We didn’t make much use of the kitchen because eating in Placencia is quite cheap (definitely check out Omar’s, Rumfish and Camens, skip barefoot for food). There are kayaks and bikes available at a small fee to guests.

Ty and Jacob are very special people. They treated us like family from the moment we arrived. They went above and beyond, Ty brought us fresh fruits and coconuts everyday and Jacob offered multiple times to drive us into town for errands. Ty even gathered fire wood so we could have a fire on the beach one night ! There was not one request we had that wasn’t fulfilled.

I would definitely recommend spending some time at this special spot. It’s an authentic experience that you would never get at a big resort .

Amazing and relaxing place by the beach, great staff

Had a great stay, the bungalow we were staying in was just a few meters away from the sea. Surroundings very well maintained. Shops and restaurants were within walking distance (about 15 mins on the road). There is a walking path between the sea and the road that reduces the time to get to the village and is surrounded by more restaurants and little shops full of carved wooden objects.

We were allowed to use the bikes for free to cycle to the village if we did not feel like walking. The whole village while touristy has got a very nice, relaxed feeling. The staff is very friendly, helpful and provided us with fresh coconut water from the trees nearby on daily basis. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils, gadgets and fridge to store all the food. It even has a blender to make your own smoothies (big plus). Possibility to have a barbecue outside too.
Many thanks Jacob & Thai (hope got the spelling right 🙂 ), we had an excellent stay and would have stay behind longer if we did not have to move on.
